Hospitalization

I noticed my child's breathing was a little off. She had a small cough, no other symptoms. I took her to her family physician and showed him what I was seeing. He was surprised I noticed. When she took a breath in, her stomach would flatten out. That was abnormal. He told me to keep an eye on it, and to take her to a hospital as soon as she reached the next level of RSV which was, for her, a cough. From that hospital, she was taken by ambulance to a bigger hospital where she was then placed on oxygen, and we used a vacuum to suck out the mucus in her throat and nose.

Without placing her in the hospital, she definitely would have died. Even though she was not showing symptoms, she had one of the worst cases that ever went into that hospital.
